Fashion world is always looking for something new, unusual and epathetic, something like … Lady Gaga or Beth Ditto. It begins from clothes, make-up and ends by photos. If you think you landed on the fashion blog, no you didn’t, you are still on Digital East Factor. And it is actually going about the photo app Glitché, , which comes from Russian developers and conquered the whole Western fashion world.
Gllitché is a Russian, Instagram like photo app, which gives your images via filtering an individual look. But with one difference: the filters imitate bugs of computer graphic card and get you into the imaginary virtual world full of illusions and distortions. From the first sight it is just a funny app, which life cycle is pretty short. It’s really curious, but exactly this app attracted a special attention of the whole fashion society. Namely a popular photographer and video director Nick Knight, who already worked together with Bjork, Lady Gaga and Kanye West, organized a terrific photo projectin cooperation with British celebrities, like e.g Lilly Allen, Iggy Azalea and Kelly Brook. The whole photos were post-produced using iPhone and Glitch.
In the background of the whole flame, Glitché and its developers got also a real press-buzz, i.a. in such popular publications like Vanity Fair, Interview, Yahoo News, MSN and some Russian press releases and media.
Well the fashion world is sometimes really weird and glamour (like they prefer it to say). I’ll better stay in digital marketing!
